J hook

V-stitch: (Dc, ch2, dc) in same ch space or st

Beginning: With a J hook and leaving a long tail for sewing; ch 10.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across. (9) turn.
Row 2: Ch 3 [counts as 1st dc] BLO, dc across. (9) turn.
Row 3: Ch1 BLO, sc across. (9) turn.
Rows 4-15: Repeat rows 2 & 3. (9)
Row 16: Repeat row 2 but do not turn. (9)

Starting rounds, and stitching along the edge; [see photo] ch1.
Rnd 1: [NOTE: each dc counts as 2 sts; each sc counst as 1 st] Sc in 1st 5 sts. 2 sc in next st, *sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st* Repeat *to* to last st. Sc in last st. (27) Join with sl st in 1st st to form a ring.
Rnd 2: Ch 5 [counts as 1st dc and ch 2], dc in same st. *sk 2 sts, V st in next st* around. Sk last 2 sts.
Rnd 3-4:Sl st into 3rd chain of 1st ch 5. Sl st into ch 2 space. Ch 5, dc in same space. V st in each ch 2 space around. Sk last 2 sts. (9 V st)
Rnd 5 OF LEFT HAND:Sl st into 3rd chain of 1st ch 5. Sl st into ch 2 space. Ch 5, dc in same space. V st 2x, ch 5, sk next V st. V st around (8 V st)
Rnd 5 OF RIGHT HAND:Sl st into 3rd chain of 1st ch 5. Sl st into ch 2 space. Ch 5, dc in same space. V st 6x, ch 5, sk next V st. V st around (8 V st)
Rnd 6:Sl st into 3rd chain of 1st ch 5. Sl st into ch 2 space. Ch 5, dc in same space. V st to ch 5 of previous rnd. V st in middle ch, sk next 2 ch. V st in next V st around. (9 V st)
Rnd 7:Sl st into 3rd chain of 1st ch 5. Sl st into ch 2 space. Ch 5, dc in same space. V st around. Sl st into 3rd chain of 1st ch 5. FO. Weave ends.

With long tail, sew cuff together.
